Vega is a unique company managed by people who have spent their entire careers learning, implementing, and teaching what makes us successful.
Our 5 primary owners have each been in management positions with Vega for at least 20 years.
Company-wide, there is low turnover with many employees spending or finishing their careers with us.
We still believe in self-performing our own carpentry work. We employ more craftworkers than supervisors, which is rare these days.
We thrive on repeat business. In an average year, 80-90% of our revenue comes from repeat business. This does not happen by chance.
We do not manage our projects with a profit-squeezing mindset. Instead, we focus on quality, safety, and cleanliness. We cooperate with our subcontractors, treating them as teammates.
We invest in our future. In addition to formal apprenticeship training, we employ our own trade educator. Our young supervisors are required to complete a 2-year curriculum that combines classroom education in Las Vegas with mentored on-the-job training. We are even preparing the next generation of management, both financially and with mentorship.
