The heart and soul of Vega Corporation is its president, Jimmy Griffin. The Tennessee native is one of the most respected construction professionals in the region. Having started with his tools as a Vega crew member about 37 years ago, Jimmy honed his craft under Vega founder, Louis Garcia, a professional engineer considered as a leading construction innovator.
In addition to his duties as company president, Jimmy is responsible for quality control of every project. His commitment to providing every client with personalized service and exceptional work has become the signature of Vega Corporation. Since purchasing Vega with his son, Corey, the company has maintained an A+ rating as an accredited Better Business Bureau company since 2007.
Corey oversees the daily business and construction operations of the company. Corey holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Tennessee. He joined Vega in 2003 and has logged more than 500 successful projects as Project Manager, including:
Brent has coordinated over 1000 successful projects as a Vega Superintendent/Project Manager in every industry served by Vega. Brent is responsible for the daily operations of our jobsites’ project cycles, contract documents, project start-up, change management, and project close-out. Brent also serves as Safety Coordinator for Vega, insuring all training and safety requirements are met on each jobsite.
Michael is a 13-year construction veteran, having spent 11 of those years with Vega. As Vice President of Estimating, Michael is responsible for the majority of Vega’s estimates, bids, procurement, and shop drawings. He holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Tennessee.
